About Eileen

Eileen Forlenza, a successful motivational speaker, author and trainer advocating for quality systems of care in public health and healthcare.
As a parent of an adult child with disabilities, Eileen Forlenza effectively represents the family perspective in public policy discussions at the federal, state and local level. Eileen is a proven leader and consultant, supporting organizations to embed voices of the community in policy development, program implementation and metric design.
Eileen’s work in leadership development spans over thirty years where she has served on state and national advisory councils including National Summit on Patient and Family-Centered Care, National Center on Cultural Competency, National Center for Youth Transition, National Initiative for Child Health Quality and Family Voices National and has served as faculty for the Institute for Family Centered Care and as a curriculum consultant for University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. Eileen serves as an adjunct professor for Colorado State University, School of Public Health.
